My husband gave bear her nick name when she was just about three months old. I have always been a big Winnie The Pooh fan so this seemed like a perfect nick name for our sweet little girl. When I began writing this blog I was spending a lot of time reading A.A. Milne's "The World of Pooh" to bear as she played on her tummy time mat or bounced in her jump yard. If you go back to my first few blogs you may here some of A.A. Milne's influence as you scroll through the posts. Today bear's nick name sticks and it has been a delightful way to keep her real name private.
Bear is still very much into Pooh, we visit him occasionally at Disneyland. She has grown to love other animals though and you are now more likely to see her with a turtle than with a bear.
