I still remember the pain and bloody, swollen nipples. One I gave extreme gas to because I didn't know that the onions in my tuna fish that I had prepared before going to the hospital and dreamed about from my hospital bed would affect my nursing baby. I almost lost it; all the crying my poor baby did while I tried to feed him, not knowing that I was feeding him gassy onions from my breast milk.
